1. satisfaction - hands raised to embrace (generally raised up to the waist or at times can go all the way up)
2. exhilaration - hands raised to indicate the winner (generally help up high to attain max height)... the one on top
3. spiritual - hands raised to reach .. well .. god almighty (the angle of elevation depends on which religion the person belongs to)
there are other very important utilities for raised hands .. the most important being taught in Kindergarten ... something which is totally abandoned on reaching some level of maturity ...
