cracker budgets

mmm.. you are saved, this is not a story. this is just a factual recollection :) 2nd standard - mani mama's thala deepavali and he chose to celebrate with us. Hence brought one big suitcase full of crackers. I would arrange and rearrange them n number of times per day. and i saved some of them till another 2 more years. 3rd - bad year. remember getting budget of around 35 rupees and cycling downtown in thirupattur to buy crackers on the last but one day or so. 4th - now we are long timers in tirupattur and we know where to get. went with amma to a whole sale shop in the first floor on top of the medical shop and bought for almost 125 rupees :) 7th : arvind gifted me a very heavy almost real pistol like cap-gun 8th-10th : seenu kumaran would anyway buy lots and we would anyway be near their house. so dont matter that we dint buy much. these are what i remember most.

movie start

"rajesh, rtm mudinjudha ?" "sunil, abnormal scenarios ?" people around that ward of the mental hospital threw a familiar look. This would go on and on till an imaginary delivery was done. it would usually end with a mayakka oosi. And then we flash-back to the day i became a software engineer. :)

irctc booking

The ideal flow should be like this : 1. get cash into your IRCTC account upfront (not necessarily after 8am or 10am) - optional 2. prefill passenger details 3. when showing list of available trains, highlight seat availability in diff color or dont show unavailable trains 4. once an available train is clicked, take the prefilled form and cash and just give me the ticket :)
